Filters on Final Cut Pro won't load DFT 55mm

I'm loading filters on my G5. On Library/application support/final cut system/plugins....and they work fine, they are loading.

I try to load the same filters on my Laptop 2.4 Mac Book Pro and Final Cut won't load them into the effects folder.

These are the DFT 55mm. Thanks for any help.

What version of FCP are you using? According to the website, 55mm filters only work with FCPP 6: http://www.tiffen.com/dfx_product_req.html

It's for Final Cut Pro 5.1.4. They work on the G5 on 5.1.4 fine. I even checked them on a second G5 and they load fine. It's the laptop that doesn't bring them up. I think the DFX filters are for FCP6, these are the DFT. I could be wrong though. Thanks for the help
