Can someone confirm the final build number for Panther?

Lots of various discussion on the topic but looking for some pointers to a number that is verified (or close to it)

Thx

7B85 is the closest thing we have to confirmation until Panther ships.

Anyone want to put some money on whether or not 7B85 is final? :)

Lets just say lots of people will be formatting their macs if its not...

That's my impression, too - lots of bugs left to be squashed in 85.

it's not that long of a process, especially if you have back-up HD or different HD partitions. It should take a few hours, yes, but the restortation process shouldn't matter that much...

According to rumors, Max OS X 10.3 is 7B85, Mac OS X Server 10.3 is 7B86.

We'll find out soon enough. and if people are installing downloaded copies, they deserve what they get.
