Final Cut Import

Hi,
I'm trying to import DV with final cut pro 4. I keep getting a pop up window telling me that "frames have been dropped"

Is this because the rotational speed on my hard drive is too slow, and if so, what can I do about it? I have a 60GB, 1ghz 17" powerbook.

i had that same problem once... i think it might have been something to do with the timecode, or trying to do too much with FCP at once. just try again off a fresh reboot and see if that helps..

there's also a few good FCP guides out there on the net. just google it and that should help you out a bit. hope that helps.
