Anyone noticed Final Cut Pro X doesn't work on Yosemite? I've had the beta for a few months and it never worked, and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

What problem are you having with it? Are you able to open it or something specific with the program?

I used the latest version of FCP today to make a short video. Worked as expected - opened and exported correctly. Didn't do anything detailed though so I don't know how it works under rigorous use.

It starts up, then just does nothing and freezes. Says "Application is not responding"

Final Cut X is working fine here on OS X Yosemite 10.10 on a 2010 MacBook Pro 13".

Haven't tested 3rd-party plugins yet but so far everything runs the same as it did on 10.9.5.

Hopefully FCPX Libraries are safe on iCloud Drive, since they get corrupted on Dropbox:
"Sometimes you might not be able to render or share a Final Cut Pro X project. This can happen if you transfer a library via a third-party file sharing service (such as Dropbox)."
