Hi...

New here just wanted to know whether Final Cut Po X will run well on the new 13" 1.8ghz 4gb Ram?

If they will have any limitations what will they be?

Apple states that FCPX requires minimum 256MB of VRAM..does this Air have that?

Thanks for any reply's.

It should run. The new Airs with the Core i8 use 384MB of your system ram for the video card. Apple wrote Final Cut X with the Intel HD 3000 in mind, so even though it isn't the greatest IGP, it should still be OK.

Im in the same boat. My 4 year old macbook is on its last leg and will take days to do 1080p conversions. I want a macbook pro but want to wait for the refresh so i think the new mb air might work for me until then i also like the fact that its half the price. So i was curious if it could handle the dirty work. I found this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZJNc_z02qg&sns=em
