Final Cut Pro X problem

I'm having a problem with Final Cut Pro 10.2.3 video playback. On certain frames, white squares will pop up randomly during playback. Same thing with the exported video. I'm running the latest public beta software of OS Sierra. Is this a problem with the OS Sierra or something else?

I've never seen that before myself, but I think you're right to at least suspect Sierra – I've noticed in the past that the core pro apps seem to be updated in parallel with the lower-level system updates and depend on them.

I've never seen this. Hopefully it's only a beta bug and will be hashed out in the next build or two.
