Hi;

My understanding is that, at the moment, Apple are allowing academic products from the pro apps to be upgraded to the universal Final Cut Studio *retail*. Does this mean that, right now, if I buy FCS universal at academic pricing (I'm still a student) that the product code will be full retail too?

Being my last year of study I don't want to by Studio only to find that I can't upgrade it later, thereby wasting $(AU)1100

Cheers

No. They are allowing Final Cut Studio Academic users to upgrade to Universal Final Cut Studio *Academic*. Just sent in my Academic disks for upgrade today.
