Final Cut X 10.2.3 Problems Importing AVCHD

Hi Everyone,

I don't know if this is the right section or not but here goes nothing.

I usually never have this problem but for some reason this time while trying to upload the AVCHD file Final Cut X can't see the file has anyone else ran into this?

Please help.

Not seen it yet. Maybe the file has been corrupted?

just transcode it? corruption can creep in at each stage. or maybe it's from an odd source/bad encoder.
