I'm going to get a MacBookPro 15.4" - 2,000, unless there are no new computers. What do I need to get for no internet cordS?

You can get airport basestation or you can get a wireless router, which is what I recommend.
You need to connect that to your cable modem (if you have one, if not, you need one) and then the cable modem goes into the wall. Simple as pie.
If you have cable you're looking at about $50-$100 for a router depending upon where you buy.

Yeah...

Some people ask wierd questions?
Some people waste space making stupid comments, and some people waste time researching stuff, like wether I asked the same question in the last thread.
You don't have to give me credit, but at least don't whine about me.
I'm excited and can't help it so ****.
Thanks for your help man.

There isn't a need to become angry.

If you don't want to go the wireless route, you'll have to get an eiternet cable. They are commonly refered to as your average every day "network cable". You can pick one up at you local computer store/london drugs-if you have cable modem or router already.

If you have dial up, you'll need to buy/find a phone cable (just like you'd put in a regular phone) and buy the dial up adapter from apple ($49).

to iDuck, the first thing i read in your sig. was that ducks will take over the world.... Do you like the mighty ducks movies...Quack quack quack....GO DUCKS! (best movie ever) ---- sorry couldn't resist...

iDuck:

I rule you.

OP:

If you do, indeed, have to use dial-up, it will be a lot harder to find a base station that will let you do wireless internet, and it will probably be more expensive. Just make sure that you're covered before you buy anything (though if you have a cable modem or whatnot basically anything will work).

The real Mighty Ducks, Anaheim, are in the running to win the Stanley Cup (NHL) this year. And so, I concur; GO DUCKIES!! (movie too  )
