 they recieved my request for service on Dec 29th... THey got my computer Jan 11th. I got a requote and they said i needed to not use a credit card so i sent a check. it was two weeks and they didnt get the check so i put a stop on that one and overnighted a new one.. they acutually got the stopped check before the overnighted one.. the overnighted one they didnt get even till today where i raised a scene because its been 5 biz days since i overnighted that check and they actually told me to reverse and stop the check 4 times before they actually went to find the 2nd check and it was put in the wrong persons mailbox... So they "said they unheld my repair" so they could actually start it but the phone status line and the web one both say its on hold still..
All of this over a dumb check..

Wait a second he sent his credit card info it wasn't even him who wanted to use a check from the way I understand it. With that said, why in the world did they want a check? Isn't applecare something you buy so you do not have to pay for the repairs and why a check and not a card?

That's not the way I read it, and I still don't read it that way. Apple doesn't make you pay by check, anyway.

i had no option else wise... apple halved my repair to 377.. and they coulndt take a credit card because it (the money) had to be addressed to a certain person so it was either check or money order.... AND PLUS.... im 15 so im not debiting it to my checking account either so my mom used a check from the buisness she owns... so lay off ok? i mean the dang macbook broke on my birthday..

Okay, so "..." is not a form of punctuation to be used in place of a period. I think that people are confused by your posts because they are essentially paragraph long sentances. Believe me, I am anything but a grammar Nazi, but presumably people would be more sympathetic if they understood you.

As far as I can tell, the Macbook either broke out of Warantee, which would be odd since it hasn't been a year since they have been released, or the repair was something that AC does not cover, IE dropping or water damage.

Therefore, he paid by CC, which did not work, then the subsequent option was to pay by check, the first of which was cancelled before it was recieved, the second of which was overnighted but took 5 days to get into the hands of the right person. Which means that his repair took far longer than it should have- three weeks- to get off the ground, far longer than it should have.

However, if I understand correctly, they halved the cost of your repair? That would at least be an acknowledgement of your difficulties.
