There's an app on your iPhone called iTunes - hook up to wifi and open it to do the usual iTunes thing direct.

haha so funny! i am looking for a dlna type app that will allow me to connect to my servers such as ps3media server and those as well, my droid had a dlna app, that would show all server types on the network and i could access them and watch movies or just get my music without having to have my computer running!

You can't download songs on to your iPhone that aren't on iTunes and therefore the only way to put music in your phone is either connected to or wireless syncing with iTunes.

You can play music from your phone over your router using an app called AirMusic which is a chargeable download from app store.

This isn't the same as downloading music (what you stated in your OP). If you want DLNA then clearly say so. Subject should reflect it as well.

please re-read as i stated i could watch movies OR JUST GET MY MUSIC, which is what i asked for in the OP,

i asked for a dlna app because i have one on my old droid phone that allows me to link up and download anything on my network WIRELESSLY to my phone without hooking the phone up to the computer, and if its not in the cloud then its not there,

thanks for offering some substantial assistance, no wait, yup douche u were!
