Hey guys,

So I bought my 13" MBA Ultimate yesterday, and so far I've liked what I've seen. As a heavily accustomed Windows user, its taking me a while to get used to this OS, but so far so good. I had a few question for you guys as far as keyboard shortcuts go.

So in Windows, the few shortcuts and keys that I'd always use are as follows:

Keys - Home, Delete, End, F5 (refresh)
Shortcuts - Ctrl + A, Cut (Ctrl + X) , Copy, Paste, Undo (Ctrl + Z), Redo (Ctrl + Y).

Now in Mac, after playing around for a while, I found that Ctrl in Windows is the same as Command key in Mac. So all the above shortcuts worked using the Command key instead of Ctrl. For Home, Delete, and End too I found the shortcuts (too bad there aren't discrete keys for this, or are there?). But I still don't know how to refresh from the keyboard. Any ideas?

Oh and also, I keep hearing this pleasant doorbell sound on my mac from time to time, but it doesn't seem to be coming from Adium, Skype, or Sparrow. Any idea what that might be?

Thanks for your help in advance :)

This isn't exactly what you were asking, but might be useful anyways.
OS X Keyboard Shortcuts

Oh, refresh a page? command+r works for me in Chrome. If you go to preferences > keyboard > "use F keys as standard function keys" then F5 will reload the page too (at least in Firefox). Then to access those special functions, like sounds, brightness, media keys, exposé and dashboard, just click fn+"F" key.

Umm, I think you can also set specific key strokes for individual apps too.

Are you sure the doorbell isn't coming from any of those apps you listed above? It seems most likely to come from Adium, but could be coming from any app you have running open.

Thanks a lot bro! I guess it'll just take playing around till I get used to it :)
