My lifelong wait is over, I'm very happy to be a part of the Mac family. But this keyboard will surely take some getting used to :p

Actually, my family used to have an old Powermac G3 but I didn't get to use it much. Now I have my own and it feels great. So long decrepit old PC!

I'm only 5-8 135 lol.

Anyway is iRip a good program to transfer my iPhone to my new Mac?

Sorry I couldn't help this, it made my chuckle. "iRip" "I rest in Peace". Sounds like a scary name for software. :D But congrats on your new Mac.

Can't you just transfer them from your old computer with e.g. memory stick or external HD? iRip isn't free and trials usually lets you to transfer e.g. 10 songs and then you would have to buy it to finish it

Why cant you just plug the phone into the mac and let itunes do the work?

Well I suppose I could use an ex drive but I'm tempted to buy one of those programs if they keep my music labled correctly and my playlists intact.

nice, i got the same model a month ago just for xCode but it runs everything I throw at it so far and it's much nicer to use than my quad-core PC. It has some yellow discoloration that I'm not sure whether I'll live with or not; they said I have a year to take it back if I want. Regardless, it's awesome :)

I'm really enjoying this thing :)

Anyway I used iRip and it was worth it. Kept everything intact, including some very long playlists (~100 songs).
