Finally got my MBP, very impressed!

Hey guys,

I've been hanging around the Laptop section of Macrumors here for a few months now, but today I finally took the plunge and got my Macbook Pro.
2.4GHZ Glossy standard.

In a few words, I'm really impressed. Its really 'zippy' at everything I tell it to do, even the internet seems faster even (probably just the placebo effect) but in general I'm a happy customer!

The LED backlit display is increadibly bright and I've already had a play with everything that came with it, all working perfectly. Front Row is superb and all of Apple's little touches make this one hell of a computer. Even the speakers sound better than I expected.

I know you must get sick of appreciation threads like this, but I just had to share the love guys.

Congratulations on your purchase! It's actually nice to read a positive report. Even though it took me a couple of tries to get one without a display defect, I'm also very impressed with this MBP revision.

+1 On that, people tend to post more negative stuff than they do positive. How's the saying go, "A happy customer will tell 1 or 2 people and an unhappy customer will tell 10?"
