Finally i get why the cloud is a mess

They did not follow through on their promise, demoting the pc/mac to just another device under the cloud. That is what is wrong. Going into i-tunes it should Read:

This is what does not make sense today, the pc is not just demoted to another device in the cloud, that is why it does not work well with multiple pc´s also and the dont sync with the cloud in a proper way. As it works now the PC still is the hub not the cloud.

It does work as advertised IF all your music/tv shows/movies come from the iTunes Store. If that is the case then you no longer need your computer as all that material is stored in the cloud.

However, that is a rather big IF.

Use What You Want

Don't use what is as yet unproven. the @me address is useful if you want to separate your usual email accounts from you ISP.

Photostream is a bit of fun if you have ATV or similar.

Ical sync is VERY useful, if you have multiple devices.

The rest? Are off for the moment 50GB (which is the amount of storage I'd need is a little expensive but I may use it as a stand by one day.

I got it, I wanted tabbed browsing on my mobile devices, Got that too. Although why the AC cord has to be plugged in to sync my iPad (even with 100% battery) is confusing since my phone will sync without the need for power connection.

I suppose Apple assume we have more stuff on our iPads than our phones.

That's strange. Both my iPhone and iPad WiFi sync just fine without an AC connection. My AC connection for both devices is a USB-connected cradle so I was sort of wondering what the point was when I initially read you needed AC. I'm glad to see it's not actually the case.

I think it's more of a recommended thing since if you're near to nil battery it could screw things up if the transfer is interrupted midways.

An AC connection just prompts the iDevice to AUTOMATICALLY sync. But, you're quite right that it works just fine without plugging in the power cord. In fact, my iPad is in its sleeve and I just now initiated a sync from iTunes. Worked flawlessly, if just a little slow.

THANKS for clearing me up on that! Now I get it. In order for it to auto-sync it needs the AC. I haven't actually tried initiating the WiFi sync from iTunes. That's cool. I've been going to Settings> General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync on the iPhone and iPad themselves to WiFi sync.

Yeah i agree for bought stuff, but that is a pretty lame cloud if you ask me. I had something like this in mind
