So, I have finally made up my mind!!! I will be buying a refurbished MBP next week! praying for a good and well working one but at least you get the warranty so if it breaks you might even get a newer model:p So I'll think I'll be happy, I'm not worried about Core Duo 2 or a new case design, there is always gonna be something new around the corner so, ummm so what. Well, thanks for reading my rampage of happiness.

This may sound like the most stupid question, but what are the odds of the Apple Online Store running out of refurbs anytime soon?

It happens, but it's all about what needs to be repaired and there doesn't seem to be a lack of machines without problems, unfortunately. Fortunately, for you.

I had it happen when I was debating my 1.33 GHz PowerBook. I would go look every day and I would just about click the "Add to cart" button. When I decided that I could do it, there weren't any available. My heart sank. In two weeks, there were more.

I wasn't sure if this was a sarcastic question or not ;)

The odds of running out of refurb machines are pretty slim I'd say, haha :)

They may run out from time to time, but they'll get more. Just check back regularly if they are out when you are ready to order.

I bought a refurb PowerBook earlier this year and it is great/no problems at all. As you said, even if there is an issue, you get the same warranty as if it was new, Enjoy!!!

Since refurb machines are mostly stocked with returned computers, I'm sure they won't run out of refurb MBP's any time soon. ;)
