I am looking for a good finance/budget app. It doesn't need to be very extravagant, just something really simple were I can put in my income in one general category that covers everything, and put in my expenses in like 5-10 different categories that just subtract from the overall income category.

I just want to be able to see how much I am spending on the different categories (i.e. groceries, gas, bills, insurance, etc...). I would like to be able to view it by month and week if possible... month is the the most important.

I am looking for a free app that will do this, like I said I don't need a bunch of other features.

Anyone know of an app like this?! Please!

Quicken works pretty well. And it's free! The nice thing is that one you get it all setup, it pulls the info directly from your checking account so that you don't have to manually input it everytime you spend.

Thanks!

I have thought about that one and mint, but i just don't really like give a 3rd party access to my account info, maybe I am just paranoid?

I am happy to input it myself anyway, I don't spend all that much haha.

Found a very good one for what I want, in case anyone else is interested it is SpendingLite.
