Apologies if this has already been posted but I am really frustrated by how quickly my iPad Mini drains. I don’t know if it’s just me but I found that the iPad standby time has really gone down over the last couple of years. When I look at the battery statistics, Find My is the biggest drainer at 35%. I don’t know how to fix this. I turned off Background App Refresh and optimised the battery where I can, but Find My just keeps forcing me to charge it way more than I should.

Does anyone have the same issues? And without disabling Find My on it, how were you able to fix it? Appreciate any support I can get with this. Thanks.

Turn it off and on again.
Find My, not the iPad.
Although, turn find my off, turn the iPad off, turn the iPad on, turn find my on. Give it a couple minutes.
Restart the iPad again. See if that might help.

Depends on how old your iPad is. My iPad Mini 4 is almost 7 years old and drains quickly. My Mini 5 is 2 years old and can hold a charge for several days despite fairly extensive use.

Did you ever fix this? I am on iPad iOs 15.6 Public Beta 2 and experiencing significant battery loss on my 2021 12.9 M1 iPad Pro at night. Battery stats show Find My as the program with the battery usage.

That's why it's called a 'beta'.
Wait for official release of update.

Thanks for an unproductive, crappy answer. That is not a way to help someone. I am highly technical and know what a beta is. Why don’t you say, I am on the beta and don’t have those issues? Otherwise, if you don’t know a thing about, don’t post and move on. Thank you!

I'm on the beta too and have also felt battery life is a bit worse on my iPad Pro 12.9

I would wait and see if the next version of the beta improves things. I have a few minor other glitches too. definitely a bit less stable than previous beta's

Didn't mean to be rude, apologies......;)

Not on beta, but 15.5 works fine on 1st gen iPad Pro with no excessive battery drain.
