Can’t get my wife’s “live”
location anymore but I still get my kids’. Even then it takes a while to come up whereas before it was no longer than a second. My wife gets my “live” location just fine.

My wife and I set up notifications for each other for when we leave/arrive home/work but instead of being labeled as home and work, it says the address of the location.

Sometimes has us placed across the street or in the woods even when at home. Was not the case with iOS 16.

Really annoying. Anyone else seeing bugs in Find My?

I just made a thread about Find My showing me "Live" as 4km from my actual location.. for hours on end.

Seems like they introduced a slew of bugs with 17.0.3

Glad I'm not the only one experiencing them

Unreal. Sorry, didn’t see your Thread and it didn’t come up in the suggestions either. Probably regression bugs with the addition of AirTag sharing. I believe that’s the only thing changed in Find My with OS 17.

4KM is a lot. For us, it’s no more than a few hundred feet but still poor considering it would damn near pinpoint us in the house on the map prior to OS 17

Nah that's fine - they're not exactly the same bugs, but both FindMy related which is curious.

In hindsight its about 1.5km (1 Mile), but I share location with a few people, so it's not great if you were in some sort of emergency etc, and pinging nowhere near where you are

100%. My wife and I use this primarily in case of emergencies. Live location is a great feature, when it works. But if she’s going 60 MPH and her location gets updated every two minutes, a lot of ground can be covered (2 mi?) and she will not be in the same place that Find My last reported.

Had this issue with iOS 17. It was fixed in 17.0.3

Edit* Speaking of 17.0.3, when I have Find My open, my 15 PM is still heating up pretty good.

I’m also having findmy and homekit location issues with 17.0.3 this update has to be the culprit.
