Hi,

This is driving me insane.

Wife: iPhone 7 - latest iOS 11
Son: iPhone 6 - latest iOS 11
Me: iPhone 8 Plus - latest iOS 11

Wife can see me and my son and see our locations
Son can see me and my wife and see our locations
Me: Cant see either of them on the map and it says Location Not Available for both. Tried reinstalling , restarted in dfu and done a new fresh wipe on my iPhone 8 plus , still the same.

[doublepost=1508441303][/doublepost]Also on my Mac its showing Location Not Available on the find my friends.

Settings, Apple ID, iCloud. Then scroll all the way to the bottom and click on share my location.

You should see all your family members there.

Do that for each phone and make sure it says who that particular phone is sharing their location with.

Thanks for the reply. That didn't work. What did work was resetting the phone again. Shouldn't have to do that but hey ho

Hi, I recently had this error. All was working fine and then it wasn't. The reason - I had turned iMessage for messages off. Once I turned it back on and waited a few minutes all was working again.

I'm having the exact same problem.

Everyone in my family can see each others devices and mine, but on my device, everything says "Location not Available"

Has anyone come up with a solution?

what exactly do you mean when you say resetting the phone?

I am also having the exact same problem. My wife and son can see their phones and my phone, but on my phone, I see "Location not available" for their devices.

Ironically, I can see both of their devices using the "Find my iPhone" app, but something appears to be wrong with this in the "Find My Friends" app.

Really frustrating. Any help appreciated!!

Yes I have. Again, my wife's phone and my son's phone appear to be operating correctly. They can see each other's devices and mine.

So I cannot figure out why my device is the outlier and cannot see theirs, at least in the "Find my Friends" app. I can see their devices in the "Find my iPhone" App and the devices are correctly listed under their names.
[doublepost=1541046323][/doublepost]I also have other friends who use the "Find My Friends" app with me and I can see their location.
