Find my iMac shows offline when in sleep mode

Guys, after Sierra install I mentioned that when my iMac goes in sleep mode, it stops "sending" the location and is shown in Find My Phone app as offline. If I wake it up - immediately goes online.
With all previous OSX it sent the location online does not matter it is in sleep mode. Any idea of any special settings exist for this, that I may missed ?

As long as the 'Find My Mac' box is ticked under the iCloud option in General settings, it should work. What you are experiencing, is probably a beta bug.

Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't any computer in sleep mode, be offline to Find My Mac? That's the point of sleep mode, everything but ram is powered off

Not if you have power nap enabled! (i have power nap enabled on El Capitan but i never got it to work)

What does Power Nap do?
If your Mac supports Power Nap, these activities can occur while your Mac is asleep:

• Calendar receives new invitations and calendar updates.
• Reminders keep up to date with changes made on other devices.

• Mac App Store items (including software updates), download in the background
• Time Machine performs backups
• Spotlight perform indexing
• Help Center content updates
• Wireless base stations can wake your Mac (Wake on Wireless)
