Find My Iphone App for Iphone

Any idea if apple will ever come out with a find my iphone app for the iphone? On the mobile me site they have added the icon so that you can access it faster. All the other icons on that bar have an app on the iphone. Just wondering what others think. And if they do come out with one do you think it will be able to do everything you can do from the website. Also do you think will package it with a software upgrade? Using remote desktop can sometimes take too long and hard to navigate.

It wouldn't defeat the purpose because if you are out with a friend or your wife or who ever and they loose their phone they could use your phone to help locate it.

I like this idea ive lost me phone before and it sucks having to go home get the macbook just to find my phone.
