'Find My iPhone' App Not Working on Cellular Data

I've noticed recently that the Find My iPhone app no longer works (on my iPhone) while on cellular data, only WiFi. I get a message stating that a WiFi or cellular connection is required. I most definitely have a cellular connection. Am I misinterpreting the message?

Any ideas what's happening?

At a guess I'd say it's a carrier setting...contact them to see.
