iPhone Find my iphone crashes

It usually has to be force quit when I open it after a number of hours. I had this problem on the 6s and now the IPhone 8. Anyone else?

Sounds like some type of corruption in your OS. When you got your iPhone 8 did you set it up useing a backup? That would explain why it happens on both phones

Yes I did. Can it be fixed?

Restore the phone using iTunes as new, then add all your apps manually. You’ll be happy with the result. It’s a little of a pain but , the result is worth the effort
