Hey there, I'm new here and I just signed up here just to ask this question referring to my lost iPhone which was stolen Friday (a few days ago).
So I've really came to the conclusion that someone stole my phone, so it isn't anywhere lost in my home, or my friend's car, etc. My phone kept activating on and off throughout the hours when I kept calling it. (Also, someone picked up but went silent for a few seconds and hung up). So someone definitely did take my phone.
So I've asked 3 of my different friends to try this Find My iPhone app for me. All three of them kept telling me the same thing, that my apple account needed to be activated. So I activated it, but they still get the same error saying that My account needs to be activated... I'm not sure if this means I have to activate my iCloud account, but my friends keep telling me that I need iCloud for sure in order for this app to happen... Honestly I don't think I ever touched iCloud (call me a dumbass, I know). So I was wondering if there's any possible way to void this error, or if there's any other alternatives in locating my phone? Like possibly viewing my own call log online somewhere, etc. Thank you, I really really appreciate it.
