From 14.2 to 14.6 Find My iPhone location randomly turns on & turns off. It does this all day & it’s starting to turn into a slight battery drain.

Prior to 14 it would only use your location when using the find my app, when your battery is low, or when you use AirPods.

Only fix is turn off location for find my iPhone.

I've searched all over the internet for answers to why Find My is accessing the location all the time, and the answers I found were few people noticing and complaining about it and that this type of Find My behavior is totally normal after iOS 14.3, if I'm not mistaken. In the past, it only accessed the location if we really requested it, but with the implementation of offline and more advanced searches, this changed. Many said that the impact on the battery is negligible, since it is a totally advanced technology. I've already done the test myself turning it off and leaving it on, I didn't notice any difference. I was so paranoid about this arrow appearing on my screen that I only turned on Find My when I went to dangerous places. But now I'm leaving it activated all the time.
