This great new feature which will be coming to MobileMe, does anyone know if it's going to based on account or by address?

I've got a family MobileMe account, and two iPhone 3Gs that pull from accounts there. Can one of the family accounts be tied to a 2nd phone, or will it be 1 iPhone per master account?
I'm guessing that if you have multiple phones that each created account can be used with each one, but it never states that anywhere for sure, just wondering if anyone knew for sure.

This, for me is the breakthrough part of yesterday's announcement. It's basically a first for the smartphone market, and a much needed addition. I had my original iPhone stolen. Oh to even have a proximity of who had my phone would have been great.

I can't answer the family question for sure, but I would sure hope by account. Meaning, as many iPhones as you have synced with Mobile Me can be found. So far it has worked EXACTLY as advertised with me. And it is absolutely awesome.

I think I figured it out. It looks like you can have an iPhone attached to each account. I just installed 3.0, and am waiting to resync my apps before I take it for a spin. I see the Find options under each of my accounts.

I just tried it too. It is awesome!

I sent a test message to my phone. It showed up immediately, and it even sends you a confirmation message to your MobileMe mail letting you know that the message showed up on the screen.

Just so you know, you're sent a confirmation email only as soon as OK is tapped. It makes a difference.

Not for me. I didn't touch the dialog. In fact I didn't hit OK until about 10 minutes after I got the message.
