Find My iPhone - Wake on Lan/ Broken?

So after a month of BTMM not working properly, I started looking at whether the macbook would wake on lan. I found that 'find my iPhone' will not wake it. Does the mean that wake on lan is broken?

I have reset PRAM and SMC, and nothing.

Working for months till I got the new POS ATV4. WOL started failing AGAIN. Freaking Apple quality with software is just like Windows now. It's just CRAP! FOCUS from Apple with quality is GONE.

I've ended up just keeping iMac running 24/7. OS Quality from Apple has really tank badly. All they care about is iPhone Sales thats it. Left the old Mac hardware and OS quality to the wayside. Shame.
