Not sure where this should go, how to you get find my iPhone to track the last known position?
A few times we've tried to use it when misplaced a phone, because the phone's battery must have died then the message is that it's offline or not available.
Then when my son phone to get picked up as his battery died, again I thought I'd use find my iPhone to see where he was and go get him. again the phone was listed as offline.
I thought it kept the server up to date and only if the phone was off for 24 hours then it shows as offline. Even that is kind of pointless as if that means you still cant see the last location when misplaced.
