Find My location of my wife is not available even though her device is found

For some reason, my wife, who shares her location with me is unavailable even though I can see her iPhone as a device in the app. Any suggestions on how to see her location under the People tab and not just the Device tab? FYI, I show up on my phone and her phone under People.

Find My is a mess. Often times I get the Location Unavailable like you, especially with my kids’ iPads. See the device but their location is not available as people. Live location stopped working with iOS 15.1 and continues for both my wife and I. I get notifications that my AirPods were left behind while they are in my ears and actively connected to my phone. A total garbage mess.

Sounds like you might be using the same Apple ID on both devices. That can cause a number of inconsistent issues.
