Could you tell us when your AirPods were made (before or after October 2020), what model is your iPhone and, also, in the “connect to your iPhone” area is the “Automatically” selected?

AirPods Pro were manufactured before October 2020, model A2084.
iPhone 11 Pro.
Connect to your iPhone has "Automatically" selected. In fact the screenshot attached appears only after the AirPods Pro get connected to the iPhone (as expected).

Yeah I was focusing on the photo on the left.
I am beginning to think it has something to do with pre- October Airpods.
I will come back to u in a couple of hours

Can I ask something naive? You are on iOS15 on both devices?

Have you tried clearing the Bluetooth cache? Remove all Bluetooth devices you have connected ( choose and ignore each one) and restart your iPhone. Reset and connect your Airpods. It should do it
But does anyone see this feature on iPhone, or am I searching for something not happening for anyone.
can anyone post a screenshot from iPhone showing the find my network button.

I apologise because I haven’t confirmed that I can see the option. Yes I can see it - I did it by using the procedure I mentioned. I attach a photo as well (iPhone 11 PMX) - it is in Greek but you can see that the the slider is there
