This has been a longstanding issue where battery is lost overnight and its attributed to Find My. Assuming its my Airpods Pro, have also seen this when I had Airtags but returned them.

Is there any update in 17.1 regarding this - is anyone else experiencing this?

I just tested this by removing my AirPod 4 from Find My, then the battery drain by Find My stopped!! It doesn’t show on the stats anymore. As soon as I add the AirPods back it stay to drain again.

I wonder if its an iOS18 bug or firmware bug, I think I saw a similar post recently.
Or a case of that you are running iOS 17 and the firmware is designed for iOS18. Longshot but seems like the FW is included with iOS 18 and not iOS 17.
I’m on the latest os on all my devices… my husband’s 14 plus doesn’t show any FindMy draining on his stat at all and he has AirPods3.
