My air pod pros are coming up as left somewhere. This has never happened and makes me think it might by something to do with the new software update on them...I know where they are , just yesterday the phone said they were left somewhere but they were with me in the back seat of my car in my computer bag.

I’m getting this notification while they’re in my ears and connected to the phone haha. Last AirPods update was supposed to fix this. What a joke.

I have Find My turned on for my AirPods Pro and I get alerts that I left them behind…when they are in my pocket. I’m not saying it’s a worthless feature but I have to ignore most of the notifications because they aren’t accurate and are therefore irrelevant.

FWIW, this feature works great with the new APP2’s. Doesn’t give me false “left behind” alerts and notifies me promptly when I do leave them behind.

Have a feeling Apple was trying to do too much with the old hardware in the APP1. The reliability in this feature now might be a result of the H2 chip.
