Find window defaults?

When I bring up the find window (Apple-F from Finder) and choose Specific places it shows my external HD fine, but the check boxes for the external are unchecked. How do I make the default that they are checked? The drive has 3 partitions, and I'd only want 2 of them checked actually.

Think I've explained that nice and confusingly :rolleyes:
