Are there any 3rd party File Managers which work better than Mac's native Finder?

I'm trying to find a good work flow tool for segregating thousands of photos in a KEEP vs. TOSS sub-folder.

Finder keeps loosing focus on what file I was up to so it makes it really hard.

If there's a better tool, I'm open to using that.

Thanks for any tips,
Mike

Pathfinder has some good reviews and it has a 30 day free trial. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated nor a customer, but I have read reviews. Check out the features at:

I am a customer it is a damn fine program I have used it for years without problems. The right click context menu customization is great I especially like the Move To option you can add into it, select the file(s) to be moved and you good to go once you have selected the destination. A really nice addition to that idea is Default Folder X, it extends the file save dialog with whatever you wish to set for your folder shortcuts to enable quick access without having to go through the save dialog searching for the directory you want.

THANK YOU!

My quick first-impression of PathFinder is that it will solve the problem !!!

As a bonus, I really like the sort: FOLDERS FIRST, then files!

I'm sad it's $40 and I'll have to buy two (one for the user, one for me to support him), but it will make his new make usable for the work flows.

Since it's for business use, I don't want to do a freeware solution.

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

THANKS!

-Mike

I do wish apple give the option of folders first, like windows, or having it mushed together like standard.

The dayglo blue does help spot the folders now.
