okay, another quick question from me... I did a search, but did yield amny results. Anyway, is there a way that I can erase a CD from within finder with out going through disk utility, perhaps a plug in, or applescript or something? I am using 10.3.9, so maybe this issue is addressed in 10.4. I am a recent switcher, and there are somethings that I am still used to comming from the PC side. I also think it very odd that when I insert a blank CD, the little pop-up has buttons for Eject, ignore, and okay... Anybody else get what the ignore button is for? I mean if I click it, the cd doesn't mount? Does that serve any purpose? Also, I have a blank CD in the drive, and I don't do anything to it, yet if I drag it to the trash, it wants to burn it. For example, if I am checking to see if the CD is blank or not, and then just want to eject it, the burn icon comes up... if I hit the eject button, the disc stays in finder even if I put a new CD in... Why?
thanks
