I had been using Yosemite for a day or two without any serious issues. Recently though my finder is constantly freezing and crashing. It is completely unusable. I am not sure what to do at this point. I have tried restarting, etc with no luck.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

CrashPlan

Since Public Beta 2 of Yosemite I've had finder crashing and restarting every 4 seconds. This making it completely unusable. Problem is visible in beta 3 and beta 4 as well. Turned out to be the CrashPlan service causing this. Kill this process and remove crashplan completely (otherwise the service restarts again) solved the problem for me.

Crappy that crash plan hasn't issued an update yet. Though they state clearly on their homepage that they don't work under yosemite.
