Finder Icons Missing - Bug?

so i updated to 10.8.2 last night and just realized today that all the icons on my finder went missing, has this happened to anyone else?

I think i fixed it. There was a "colored.icon.plist" in one of my library folders which i now deleted. Oddly i never installed this plugin on my new ssd. Weird ...
