Finder Problems and question about Spotlight Shortcut...

My Finder will not open.

Even clicking on the Macintosh HD icon doesn't open anything.

I have TotalFinder installed, used Spotlight to try to launch that and the Finder....nothing.

Anyone having the same problem?

What is the Keyboard shortcut to bring up spotlight?
