Hi guys, I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the date format in finder rename from yymmdd to ddmmyy, U.K. MacBook Pro, if that helps.?

I don't think so. It does it like that so that the date part sorts "properly" when the files are sorted by name.

Dates are displayed for uk ddmmyy..
Select all files, right click, rename, time and date, and the
End result is yymmdd-time

If you set your Language and Region in System Preferences, the display in Finder should be according to the standard for that locale, ie. ddmmyy. To rename a file in Finder you just highlight it and press Enter. The column heading in my Finder is Date Modified, but you can change that to Date Created, Date Last Opened or Date Added, and even add these columns to the display, but you'll have to either scroll the window pane sideways to to see them, or extend the size of the window to accommodate them.
