Hi, I just updated to the latest 10.10.3 beta and I seem to be missing my Finder Sidebar. Before the latest update I was having the no new finder window when just clocking on the icon - deleting the .plist file did not help. Now a new finder window will open, it just seems to be missing the sidebar. Now iv tried going to the finder preferences and all the options are greyed out and non selectable.

Anyone else experiencing this on the latest beta or does anyone have a fix? Thanks.

Yeah this has been an issue since the second beta of 10.10.3.

I found a temporary fix by removing all the Finder's plist, and the sidebar plists, and then restarting. That seemed to fix the issue for a while until it popped up again. Seems to happen when I connect to my Time Capsule to store files.

Did you submit this as a bug report on bugreport.apple.com? The more people that post this issue, the higher priority it gets.

Also, there's an extensive thread on this on the dev forums, post this there instead. A lot more people will help you out with issues like this than here.

I will go post there, I came here first to see what the consensus was first. Thanks though, I will see what happens.
