Finder Trick for Images

Hi:

One thing I love in Windows was openning an Explorer (Finder) window, going to a directory with images, I can see thumbnails of all thoise images in the window (rather than Finder making me highlight one by one to only see one image at a time). Can Mac/Finder do this?

Also, when I was looking through iumages last night on mr. Mac, I would double click on an image, and Mac would show it in Preview. In windows, I could then just jump to the next image, and go through all the images in a directory. How do I do this in Preview???

1) For the images. Go to the pictures folder, make the view icon view, select show view options, max out the icon size (optional), and select "show icon preview."

2) Two options -- (1) select all in the folder and then open -- this opens them all in Preview in one window and you can page through. Otherwise select all, right / ctrl-click and select slideshow for a fullscreen slideshow of all the items you selected.

Not exactly like Windows... but that should be fairly close to what you do in Windows.
