All of the sudden (after removing a bootleg version of Roxio Toast) Finder (nor OSX on boot) will not recognize blank media.

Usually (as we all know) the burn window comes up and things proceed form there.

Disc will not show on desktop (yes, that preference is checked in Finder), if disc is in the tray on reboot, a warning dialog stating that a disc with no recognized volumes has been inserted pops up, and disc utility does not recognize the inserted CD.

All of the roxio .plist extensions and any other roxio files have been deleted....

Any ideas?

Thanks :D

Have you gone to the "CDs and DVDs" part of the System Preferences?
