A few weeks ago, I upgraded from macOS 10.5 to macOS 12.
The most annoying "upgrade", in my - as always humble - opinion, is that the Finder window titles no longer display the folder name (in full) at the top, but (truncated) to the left of the icons. I find this rather idiotic.
Many of my folders have long names that are identical at the beginning and only differ at the end - e.g. "Bank of America Checking 2020", "Bank of America Checking 2021", "Bank of America Checking 2022", etc. The reason for this is simple: I want the folders to have meaningful names and be sorted by year.
Up until macOS 10.15 I could always see the full title of a Finder window, now I only see part of it (and the most important information is not visible).
Is there any way, any tool, any tweak, any hack that will allow me to see the full folder name at the top of Finder windows again? That would be great.
