As a Mac user, I was limping along with Meta X up until very recently as it (mostly) pulled chapter data. Lately, it's failing to produce any tag data, so I've given up on it and just use Subler for all tagging. I really like the app for tagging, but when it pulls metadata from the interwebs, it's always sans chapter titles.

Barnes & Noble is a great source for movie chapter information, but using Subler means I have to retype the chapter titles (twice, if I'm doing a 1080p and 720p version).

Am I missing a trick with Subler, or is this just how life is for me now?

TIA

I could be mistaken, but I don't think Subler actually pulls chapter titles, just number. You might try MetaZ for tagging. My understanding is that is better supported.

Meta Z in Windows only.

Yes, Subler recognises the chapter markers, but when it pulls metadata from the web it does not pull the chapter titles.

You might also want to check this link out: http://code.google.com/p/subler/wiki/ChapterTextFormat

It may be able to give you some ideas on your chapter title issue. You might be able to import the chapter .txt file from Tagchimp or if you need to do it manually, you can create the .txt file then copy that into your second file.
