When I send a message from my phone through Comcast, I cant find a record of it other than on my phone. Does anyone know how if there is a record elsewhere? Would Comcast have a way to keep a record of it on their server?

Are you using IMAP? (I don't know if this tip works with POP, I've never tried.)
But for me, anyway, you can go into the advanced settings for the mail account and tell it WHERE you want the sent mail and the trash and the drafts saved. You can pick a folder on the iPhone, or the one on the server (which is then accessible from other computers.)
If you're using IMAP I know it's there. If you're using POP, I don't know, but it's worth looking.
As a workaround, you can set a preference in settings to always BCC yourself when sending mail from your iPhone. That way, you'll receive the message and you can file it on your computer.
