Finding your iPhone options?

You can get mobileme from amazon usually for about $69 if that makes it more attractive to you. (I just purchased a renewal for $55.99).
Some things to consider:
Do you have a mac? or a pc? or both?
multiple computers?
would you benefit from having your contacts/calendar items pushed/synced?
Do you already have push emails?
Would you have a use for the iDisk space?
MobileMe can offer a lot more than just "find my iPhone" services. I think it is worth every penny, I couldn't live without it. Especially if you have a mac.
I store important documents on my iDisk so that I can access them anywhere. I have my contacts, calendars, and bookmarks synced between my iMac, MacBook, & iPhone. When I got my new macbook, I used mobileme to sync my settings & keychains to it from my iMac so that setup was a breeze. If I get my iPhone replaced, all I have to do is add my mobileme info and I'm back in business with my contacts/calendars/emails even before I go home to sync. If your router supports it, you can use Back to My Mac to access your computer from anywhere. You can share photos and videos with your family with mobileme gallery. Or publish websites to your mobileme space. It is definitely worth considering.
