iPhone SE (2016) Fingerprint unlocks device but not lockscreen

First off, I hope the title explains the issue.
After resetting an iPhone 5 SE to a new device, fingerprint unlocks the device but does continue to home screen. The lock at the top of the screen unlocks but does not continue to the apps... Any help please?

Check settings/accessibility/home button/rest to unlock?
