Looks good! Nice and clean - quite professional. I'd hire ya.
Only thing - I'm a bit iffy with those Javascript image browsers. I know they're all the rage - but I'm already a bit tired of them - out on the interwebs. A little variation is needed in that regard.
Otherwise I saw no glaring problems or faults - looks real sweet!

Looked again - found some typos on the first page:
1. turly.
2. On your "about" page, "concentrations" is a typo
3. On your PDF resume - there are typos (DUDE!)
a. Makerting
Bad sentence or missing an "a" between "provides problem"
3. Each sample provides problem that needed to be addressed, my role, and the aplications used to create the design.
Also, maybe you could have different content for the descriptions of print and web. They appear to be cut and paste copies.

On a technical note, be careful about presenting all your written content as images. Search engines will not find you.

When I was putting together the site, I wanted to try the @font-face, but have not quite figured it out yet. This would allow me to keep the font consistent and will have it editable.
As far as the move further down the page, I'm not really a fan of to much content to where the visitor has to scroll.
I have seen those sites where it takes to further down the page, kinda like a wordpress.

I like it aswell, less can definately be more.
I agree with this, there are some fairly simple image replacement techniques that can be used to negate the issue.

I like the design overall, but I'm a little confused as to what purpose your home page serves. What if you put some featured work in there?

Personally on the web design page I prefer a link to the sites rather than static images. If I'm looking for a web designer I want to see a working site that shows off their talent.

I'll bullet point as I'm feeling lazy
- home page - I felt like I was supposed to click on the main image
- menu and title were 'lost' to image in the middle
- grammar/spell check needed
- text in images is bad for SEO
- gallery page - wasn't expecting the extra images once the lightbox had opened.
- hire page - resume needs to separated from the email (text) image as I clicked the words and got an email box up.
Other than these, the portfolio is swell, and so is the work you've posted on it. What typeface are you using for the titles? 'cause it looks great.I'll bullet point as I'm feeling lazy
