I use Firecore for my ATV (1st gen) and it works great. Easy to use and does everything I need without the hassle.

Theres no jailbreak for the apple tv out yet in ios 5

It's great software and they are a great company. I've no trouble with them at all and have a lifetime subscription.

It usually takes them a few weeks to jailbreak each iOS version so wait until 5 is broken but then feel very comfortable to buy it.

u dont really need to pay firecore ubnless u want there media player & web browser



but u can install xbmc & nitotv for free after jailbreaking
